Caritas Kumba is a faith based organization operating independently within the Catholic Church focused on human development, peace building and economic justice, while responding to humanitarian emergencies. CARITAS, named after a Latin word meaning love and compassion, has grown to become one of the largest aid and development agencies in the world and currently operating in the Diocese of Kumba. Caritas Kumba was launched by His Lordship Bishop Agapitus Nfon of the Diocese of Kumba, on the 15th of March 2016.
